Malcus T Bostwick has spent his life acting his way into (and out of) some of the strangest venues throughout Europe. When
he was a youthful lad, he had occasion to attend a joust with his father in Canterbury. Afterwards, Malcus wanted to meet
the knights, but was rebuffed by a stable hand. Not to be deterred, he ducked around a corner, rolled up his sleeves, picked
up a bucket and some straw and walked right past the guard in the guise of a stable boy. He met the knights, who found him
amusing enough before they tossed him out on his ear. Little Malcus knew then he’d found his calling.Malcus spent the next 30 years of his life cavorting throughout the known world impersonating everything from dung dealers to archdukes. A number of important treaties, political marriages and even one coronation (Christian IV of Norway) took place at his hands. As soon as Malcus mastered mimicking one trade he moved on (often one step ahead of some very irritated constables). Willie discovered Malcus while he (Malcus) was plying his skills as a Moroccan rug merchant in Madrid. The venerable bard offered Malcus a job sharing the stage with a fabu foursome of feisty females. The pay was good (and Malcus was running out of rugs), so Bostwick (Willie thought it best to use Malcus’ last name to throw off the authorities) accepted on the spot. Bostwick continues to delight in character impersonations (his favorite role being that of a former Lord Mayor of the City of Canterbury he once met as a youth) and when not on stage he can often be seen roaming the streets of town chatting with folk of all ilk or walking the lanes with his beloved wife Sybille.
